Create a KPI dashboard that management actually opens
Most dashboards show too much and therefore go unused. With Onagero, your controlling team builds one with few KPIs, whose definitions are fixed and whose origin anyone can verify.
- Runs on your server
- Reads only, never writes
- GDPR ready
- First result in weeks
In short
With Onagero, your controlling team builds a KPI dashboard for management from the systems you have: order intake, revenue, order book, on-time delivery, scrap and whatever matters to you. Every KPI has a written definition, a data as-of date and a path back to the postings.
How your team describes it
Your experts say what they need in their own words. Onagero finds the right data and builds the tool in a test stage; after your release it runs in operation.
„I want five KPIs on one page, each with a fixed definition and one click to its origin.“KPI cockpit, as a tool in the browser
What the tool takes over
Three steps done by hand today. The tool your team builds with Onagero then does them itself.
Selecting
We begin with the questions you ask every week, not with everything that can be measured.
Defining
Every KPI gets a written definition that controlling and the department release together.
Keeping current
The data is fetched automatically. If a source fails to arrive, the dashboard says so instead of showing old figures as new.
Typical situations
This is what the value looks like day to day.
Monday morning
Management sees order intake, order book and on-time delivery of the previous week, without waiting for an email.
Advisory board or bank
The figures for the meeting are ready, with definitions, and can be taken along as a PDF.
Contradiction in the meeting
Sales and production quote different figures. The dashboard shows that they meant different things.
New question
A KPI is added. It is described, built, checked and then stands next to the others.
Which data is needed
- Orders and order intake from the ERP
- Revenue and postings
- Delivery and shipping data
- Depending on the KPI: scrap, times, inventory
Only what your IT releases is read. Names are masked in the development stage. How the data path works
What you end up with
A dashboard in the browser with a handful of KPIs, trend, data as-of date and definition. Every figure opens its source. Roles determine who sees what.

Start with one problem.
Keep the capability.
No AI transformation. One real process, solved on your data in a few weeks. Your team solves the next one itself.
How your price is formed
After the demo you get a fixed offer. Scope, goal and price are set in writing before it starts.
One real problem, the data sources it needs, your Onagero environment on your server, and the first solution, built with your team and measured against the agreed goal.
- Scope, goal and price in writing before the start
- First running solution in a few weeks
- Your data and results stay exportable at any time
Operating the platform on your server: monitoring, reviewed updates, backup and rehearsed recovery, and maintenance of the connections when systems change.
- Begins only once the start has reached its goal
- Your team builds further solutions itself, in the same environment
- Roles, releases and logs included
What you can rely on
The tool reads, computes and shows. These things it never does, and that is in the contract.
- No dashboard with a hundred tiles. We build what gets used.
- No figure without a definition and data as-of date.
- No forecast that passes itself off as fact. Where a preview makes sense, it is shown separately and labeled as a preview.
Questions about KPI cockpit
Why not just Power BI?
If you have Power BI and someone to maintain it, that is a good route. Onagero makes sense when that person is missing or the dashboard needs data that must first be merged. You can find the detailed comparison on the page about Copilot and Microsoft.
How many KPIs make sense?
As few as possible. For the pilot we recommend the three to five that are asked about every week today.
Can I see the dashboard on my phone?
Yes, in the browser, if your network allows access from outside, for example via VPN. Your IT decides that.
Who maintains the definitions?
Controlling, in the tool. Changes are versioned so that a comparison over time stays honest.
A direct line
Write two sentences about KPI cockpit. You get an answer from a person who builds the tool themselves.
